Book Release Poverty Pockets Assessment in Patna

A report on Patna’s urban poverty, based on an assessment undertaken by Praxis in collaboration with Nidan, was published with support of WaterAid in March 2009. Praxis had earlier conducted a training of resident representatives of ten slums of Patna and members of Jhuggi Jhopri Sangharsh Morcha in January 2009, who were assisted by the staff of Praxis and Nidan in undertaking fieldwork for the assessment. The report was put together by Praxis based on synthesis of data generated under the assessment.
