Legacy

In 1997, Praxis – Institute for Participatory Practices was formally registered as a non-profit organisation under the Societies Act 1860. Although it had a humble beginning as an initiative of ActionAid in the year 1992, it has since then been associated with a number of development workers, organisations, networks, campaigns and movements to emerge as a follower and facilitator of participatory practices.
